Dear Parents, I have enjoyed meeting with you all to discuss your child’s progress this quarter and set goals for the next quarter. I will meet with each student as well to have him or her set goals for themselves as well. Please take time to go over the report card with your child and celebrate their accomplishments and set goals for improvement. With all of us working together it should be a great year! Our first field trip will be on Thursday, November 1! We will be walking to the Performing Arts Center to see Junior Theater’s, “Black Violin” We will leave the school at about 9:45 and return at about noon. We look forward to this fun event! The Denali Fall Carnival is Friday, November 2 from 6:30-8:30. Please join us for music, games, and a lot of fun. If you are able to donate a cake for the cakewalk, it will be greatly appreciated. I have sent chaperone requests for our trip to the Apple Store in the 5th Avenue Mall in today’s folder. We will be bringing our creation stories to life on Wednesday, November 7. We will leave the school at about 10:00 and return at about 12:30. Thank you to all those that can help us make this trip happen. This should be a great learning experience! Homework has returned! I have put homework in today’s folder that will be tested and due on Friday, November 2. It will be nice to get back to our regular full week routine.
