Thursday, March 5, 2020 Dear Parents, After Spring Break, on Tuesday, March 17 we will again be walking to the Performing Arts Center to see Junior Theater present "Kattam and his Tam-Tams". We will leave about 11:00 and return about 1:15. Chaperones please meet in Room 177 by 10:50. This should be a fun time for the students with lots of singing, dancing, storytelling and movement. As of today, I only have 3 chaperones signed up for this trip. I need one more for this trip to happen. If I don't have one by Monday, March 16 I will have to cancel this field trip. Please email me if you are able to help. Thanks! Please return permission slips and make a payment for our Whittier glacier cruise on Friday, May 15! We have made the 25% down payment and now need to pay the remainder of the funds to the now extended deadline of Friday, March 27. Please make these payments as soon as possible. Thanks! One more important event is our 3rd Grade Recognition Ceremony in which we send our 3rd graders with a big thank you and good luck in the future. I have scheduled this event for Thursday, May 14th at 1:00. 3rd grade parents please let me know if this date and time does not work for you as soon as possible. Please join us Thursday, March 5 from 6-8 p.m. for an evening with Montessori expert Anna Perry. She will be talking about "Montessori in the home." Thank you to the PTSA for your support bringing Ms. Perry for this presentation and the teacher presentation the following day! I will see you after Spring Break on Monday, March 16.
