Thursday, January 18, 2017 Next week, January 22-26, is the Great Kindness Challenge! I have included a checklist in the homework packet that your family can work on together. A little kindness can go a long way and it is always a good thing to practice. Thanks! On Wednesday, February 7th we will have a visiting guest in our room! From 12:40-1:25 a flying squirrel will visit us from the Alaska Zoo. The students will learn all about the flying squirrel. It should be a fun learning experience! This week the students have been studying math facts, classification, spelling, penmanship, problem solving in math, practicing math operations, reading, writing friendly letters, pronouns, journaling, geometry, reading comprehension and activities, measurement, beginning out fundamental needs of humans work and more.
